I've had my last adventure. I got sick with cancer. I hid it from my mom for a long time. I let my dad see how sick I was getting but I didn't want to worry my mom. She found out though and took me to the doctor. It had already spread everywhere in my body. It made my mom really sad. She really spoiled me for the next few months after she found out.

I started getting sicker and sicker until I didn't have any energy and couldn't eat.. She kissed me a lot while she sat with me and cried. I wished I had the energy to make her feel better.

One day I was really having a hard time. I was really having a hard time breathing and my mom didn't want me to suffer. She took me to the doctor and we all decided it was time for me to leave them and go on an adventure all by myself.

I'm worried about Mama Kitty. I know she's howling a lot for me because she can't find me. I wish I could go back and tell her I'm OK.

I wish I could tell my mom and dad all the things I'm doing now in my new life. I really miss them and I know they miss me too. I know my mom's going to cry a lot and miss me so much. I wish I could comfort her like I used to when she cried, but I can't. I hope she's not sad for too long because I'm OK and having fun in my new adventures.

I got a cold.

I was sick for a few days with a cold. I couldn't stop sneezing. My mom was really worried about me. Every time I would sneeze, she would come check on me.

At first I just sneezed every now and then, but my eyes were getting runny. That's when my mom started to get worried. Then the sneezing started coming all the time! My mom got up and checked on me with every single sneeze until it got to be too often.

My mom started feeling me for a fever. I think I might have had one. My mom told me she thought I did. I just wanted to curl up with my mom and sleep and feel better. She did a good job taking care of me. She even made me some chicken broth. My dad made fun of her for it but she was really worried about me and wanted me to get better.

I was curled up with my mom in her bed and Mama Kitty came in. I was afraid Mama Kitty was going to be mean to me. My mom kept her away from me. I just slept as much as I could.

My mom was talking about taking me to the doctor and how long she was going to let me be sick before she took me in. I was really hoping I'd start to get better soon so I didn't have to go to the doctor again.

Then I started getting better! I started being able to sleep without waking up to sneeze. My mom got less worried about me. Then I started to feel like my old self again. I'm still sneezing sometimes but now my mom's not so worried and I get to run and play again.

I love to wake my mom up! I love to wake her up so much that I rest up all night so I can keep her up all day!

My mom works shift work. My dad does too. They say they have to go to work so they can buy me food. I want them to keep buying me food but I miss them so much when they're gone. Sometimes they're both home and sometimes only one is home. There's almost always someone home. I like that.

I just miss my mom so much when she's gone. I wish I could lay on her lap and sleep. So when she gets home I just have to tell her how much I missed her. The first thing I do is greet her at the door and tell her I missed her. Then I run straight to my food dish. I tell her how hungry I got while I was waiting for her.

Sometimes my mom feeds me but sometimes she makes me wait 'til my dad feeds me. She says it's not dinner time yet. I think it's always dinner time.

Then after my mom goes to bed my dad will feed me. I like to go nap for a couple hours and then it's time to tell my mom how much I love her. I go jump on the bed and climb on top of her. I like to sit on her shoulder. Sometimes I put my claws in her arm and that wakes her right up. Sometimes I put my nose in her ear. She thinks I'm trying to eat her brains when I do that. They do smell good and I might like to taste them, but mostly I know she wakes right up when I do that.

Sometimes I have to jump all over, back and forth, and walk around her head. She always tries to get me to lay still but I can't. I'm too excited to see her.

We play this game for hours. I don't know how she can sleep so much. Sometimes I trick her into feeding me. She knows if she feeds me, I'll take a nap before I start waking her up again.

Sometimes I miss her so much but I just like sleeping snuggled up next to her. I like being right next to her while we both sleep. It's nice and warm and cozy. I like it when she puts her arm around me while I sleep.

My mom will be home soon. I need to go get rested. It's going to be a long day keeping her awake!

I love to wake my dad up to feed me.
I love to tickle my dad's elbow while he's trying to sleep.
I love to sit on my dad's leg.
I love to run to the front door when my dad comes home.
I love to trick my dad into letting me outside.
I love to sleep next to my dad.
I love to tell my dad when I'm hungry.
I love to trick my dad into feeding me an extra meal.
I love to sit on top of my dad when he has the furry blanket on.

Mama Kitty Caught a Bird!!

Mama Kitty Caught a Bird! It was so exciting!

My mom decided it was a nice day and we could go out and play. There were some birds playing near the back fence. Mama Kitty saw them and I could tell she was on a mission. She got a look and she headed straight for them.

My mom followed Mama Kitty. I thought she was going to do some bird hunting too but she has no idea how. I don't think my mom was ever taught how to hunt birds by her mom! She was making so much noise! She was walking loud and talking loud and she scared those birds away!

After those birds flew away my mom gave up. Mama Kitty knows how to hunt birds though and she knew better! Mama Kitty found herself a good hiding spot. It was so good that no one could see her but me because I knew where she was. She hunkered down and waited like a good hunter does.

My mom and dad started getting worried. They looked and looked for Mama Kitty but she was hidden too well in her hiding spot.

Mama Kitty's hunting skills served her well. She waited real quiet for those birds to come back and they did! Then she got one!

She was so excited!!!!! She came running over to our dad and he got excited too! He was so excited he called mom on his phone from the backyard! She was just in the house but he called her on the phone, it was crazy. I think he told mom not to come outside because he know mom isn't a good bird hunter and would scare everything living away.

Dad wanted to see Mama Kitty's catch so she put it down. She figured dad was a good hunter and would help out. As soon as she put that bird down for him, it flew away! Can you believe it?

Mom didn't listen to any of us and came outside to see what all the fuss was but the bird was already gone! I think my dad was real disappointed that he didn't get to share that bird with Mama Kitty. I'm not sure Mama Kitty would have shared it with him anyway. I think she wanted it all for herself.

Ever since that day Mama Kitty has wanted back out to go hunting in a bad way. She howls and howls and wants out!

I can't wait for the next day she lets us out to be hunters!

I'm so glad I found her and I'm so glad she brought me home!

I've been away from the computer for a while. There's just so much going on. It's so hard to find time to write between sleeping and napping and eating and waking my mom and dad up all day and all night! It's exhausting.

The weather is so nice outside. The other day my mom let us out to play. It was so much fun. At first my mom didn't want us to go out but I tricked her. Then when she was trying to put me inside, Mama Kitty ran out!! That Mama Kitty was super sneaky and fast! My mom figured since Mama Kitty was out, I may as well be out too.

We had so much fun.....we ate grass, we rolled in the dirt, we ran around. I laid in the sun and it was so nice. I loved feeling the heat in my fur.

My mom told me we were gonna get fleas. She worries too much. For the next few days she kept checking me for fleas. She was driving me nuts! She never found any though.

I hope my mom and dad let us out to play more. It's so nice and so warm and I just can't wait to get back out to play!
